The airport currently lists Route N100, payment options, and a late operating window, while tourism information also refers to an airport express route. The current airport bus information
Zvartnots Airport lists Route N100 between the airport and Yerevan city centre. It publishes a one-way fare, daytime and overnight frequency, and payment options including electronic or paper QR tickets and bank cards. Use the airport page as the current starting point because route numbers, operators, and ticket methods are exactly the details older travel posts get wrong.
Check the departure point after baggage claim and confirm the direction before boarding. Save the destination stop and the hotel address offline. “City centre” is a useful route label, not a guarantee that the bus stops beside your reception.
Route 201 and conflicting old advice
Other official or tourism information may still refer to Route 201 and different fare or timing details. Treat that as a signal to verify, not as permission to combine every number into one article. The airport's own transport page should control the current passenger instructions for the day you travel.
If a search result, hotel email, or old screenshot gives a different route, show it to airport information staff and ask which service is operating now. This takes less time than boarding the wrong bus and discovering that your travel plan has become an Armenian language lesson at the curb.

Zvartnots lists taxi operators in the first-floor arrivals hall and identifies services available around the clock. A taxi is the practical choice when your hotel is away from the bus route, the flight lands outside the comfortable public window, or luggage makes the final walk unreasonable.
Use the listed airport taxi arrangement, confirm the hotel name and street, and ask for the destination to be entered clearly. Keep the address in Armenian or Russian if the hotel provides one. A direct ride is worth more when the alternative is a dark transfer with two suitcases and a phone at nine percent.
The final walk in Yerevan
Check the route from the bus stop to the actual hotel entrance before you commit. Yerevan’s centre is compact enough to walk in many cases, but compact does not remove luggage, traffic, weather, or a courtyard entrance. The best bus route is the one that leaves you with a clear and manageable final leg.
If your hotel is near a central square, ask reception which stop or landmark is easiest. If the property is outside the core, compare the onward taxi with taking a direct airport taxi. Cheap transport is not a virtue if it creates a second transport problem five minutes later.
Late arrival and recovery
Route N100 is listed with an overnight service window, but check the current airport page for the actual day and any changes. If the landing time, queue, or hotel check-in makes the bus uncertain, use the airport taxi option. Tell the hotel your estimated arrival before leaving the terminal.
